Payment and Cancellation Policy

Non-Refundable Payments & Tuition:

All payments are non-refundable. If a course cancellation occurs greater than 60-days prior to the course start date, payments made can be transferred to another course registration or become Customer Credit to be used within 180 days. There is no guarantee the course of your choice will be available during this time period. Customer Credit expires 180 days from the date it was accrued.

In summary:

  • All payments are non-refundable.
  • Payments can become Customer Credit if cancellation occurs at least 60 days prior to the course start date.
  • Payment is forfeited if cancellation occurs less than 60 days prior to the course start date.
  • Customer Credit can be applied to another course within 180 days.

Full Course Payment:

Full course payment (“Tuition”) is due 60 days prior to the course start date; however, if registration occurs within 60 days of a course start date, Tuition is due in full at the time of registration.

In summary:

  • Tuition is due in full 60 days prior to the course start date.
  • Any payments towards Tuition may become customer credit if cancellation occurs at least 60 days prior to the course start date.
  • Any payments towards Tuition are forfeited if cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to the course start date.
  • Tuition and Payments are non-refundable.

Tuition Payment Options

There are 3 Tuition Payment Options available during the online registration check-out process. Not all payment options are available depending on the date of the course and the Tuition.

Full Tuition is due 60 days prior to the course start date.

Option #1: Payment in Full at time of registration

If course registration occurs less than 60 days prior to the course start date, Tuition is due in full at the time of registration and, therefore, this would be the only available payment option. Please contact us to discuss any special circumstances.

Option #2:  3 Monthly Payments

For Tuition greater than or equal to $3000, the payment can be made over 3 monthly payments, assuming final payment will be completed at least 60 days prior to the course date. The first payment for one-third (1⁄3) of Tuition is due at the time of registration, with the remaining balance automatically be charged to your credit card over two additional monthly payments of one-third (1⁄3) Tuition. These additional automatic payments will be charged to the same credit card used during the initial registration process.

PAYMENT PLAN SUMMARY:
First Payment: one-third (1⁄3) at the time of registration.
Second Payment: one-third (1⁄3) at the subsequent month.
Third Payment: one-third (1⁄3) at the subsequent month.

Option #3: 5 Monthly Payments

For Tuition greater than or equal to $5,000, the payment can be made over 5 monthly payments, assuming final payment will be completed at least 60 days prior to the course date. The first payment for one-fifth (1⁄5) of Tuition is due at the time of registration, with the remaining balance automatically charged to your credit over four additional monthly payments of one-fifth (1⁄5) Tuition. These additional automatic payments will be charged to the same credit card used during the initial registration process.

PAYMENT PLAN SUMMARY:
First Payment: one-fifth (1⁄5) at the time of registration.
Second – Fifth Payment: one-fifth (1⁄5) at each subsequent month for four (4) additional months.

Cancellation Sixty (60) or More Days in Advance

If you cancel your course registration sixty (60) or more days prior to the scheduled course start date and are current on the payment terms of the Tuition Payment Option up to your cancellation date, then your payments will be converted to Customer Credit with respect to this canceled course and will be available to you to apply towards the Tuition of another course. You will have one hundred eighty (180) days to select another course, however, there is no guarantee the course of your choice will be available. You must contact us to designate how your Customer Credit should be applied within the one hundred eighty (180) day period. To the extent you fail to designate how any portion of such Customer Credit is to be applied within the 180-day period, then the undesignated portions of such Customer Credit shall be forfeited to the Nejad Institute at the end of such 180-day period. Until you designate how a portion of the balance your Customer Credit is to be applied, Nejad Institute shall be entitled to commingle undesignated portions of your Customer Credit with its other funds and you will not be entitled to receive any credit for any interest accrual thereon. If you are paying the course registration fee on your credit card in installments, we will immediately cease all further credit card transactions after confirmation of your cancellation.

Cancellation more than Thirty (30) Days but less than Sixty (60) Days in Advance

If you cancel your course registration thirty (30) or more days but less than sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled course start date and are current on the payment terms of the Tuition Payment Option up to your cancellation date, then 15% of the Tuition will be forfeited to the Nejad Institute and the remainder of the payment balance will be converted into Customer Credit with respect to this canceled course and will be available to you to apply towards the Tuition of another course. You will have one hundred eighty (180) days to select another course, however, there is no guarantee the course of your choice will be available. You must contact us to designate how your Customer Credit should be applied within the one hundred eighty (180) day period. To the extent you fail to designate how any portion of such Customer Credit is to be applied within the 180-day period, then the undesignated portions of such Customer Credit shall be forfeited to the Nejad Institute at the end of such 180-day period. Until you designate how a portion of the balance your Customer Credit is to be applied, Nejad Institute shall be entitled to commingle undesignated portions of your Customer Credit with its other funds and you will not be entitled to receive any credit for any interest accrual thereon. If you are paying the course registration fee on your credit card in installments, we will immediately cease all further credit card transactions after confirmation of your cancellation.

Cancellation less than Thirty (30) Days in Advance

If you cancel your course registration less than thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled course start date, then all payments for such course up to the cancellation date whether by cash, check, credit card, or Customer Credit shall be forfeited in its entirety to the Nejad Institute as of the cancellation date.

Form of Communication to the Nejad Institute

All cancellations, designations, and rescheduling requests are to be initiated by you through the website: contact us or via replying to emails you received from your registration. You shall be responsible for confirming receipt by the Nejad Institute of your cancellations, designations and/or rescheduling.

Cancellation by the Nejad Institute

The Nejad Institute reserves the right to cancel courses in cases of insufficient enrollment or in other circumstances. In the event your registered course is canceled by the Nejad Institute, you will be notified at least ninety (90) days prior to the scheduled course start date and be given the right to have all or some of the payments made by you in cash or by credit card and that were applied towards the canceled course (excluding any Customer Credit) refunded to you. If you elect to have all or a portion of your payments refunded to you, the Nejad Institute shall do so within sixty (60) days following its receipt of your written election. To the extent you do not request a refund of a portion thereof within the time period stated in the cancellation notice, the amount that is not refunded shall be treated as part of your Customer Credit that is attributable to the cancellation of this course for possible future use. You will have one hundred eighty (180) days from the date the Nejad Institute notifies you of the course cancellation to designate how the amount that is treated as your Customer Credit pursuant to the terms of this Section are to be applied. If you fail to designate how any portion of such Customer Credit is to be applied within such one hundred eighty (180) days period, then the undesignated portion of such Customer Credit shall also be forfeited to the Nejad Institute as of the end of such one hundred eighty (180) days period. Until you designate how a portion of the balance of such Customer Credit is to be applied, the Nejad Institute shall be entitled to commingle undesignated portions of such Customer Credit with its other funds and you will not be entitled to receive any credit for any interest accrual thereon.

No Liability for Other Expenses and Costs

Except for the refund of a portion of the payments paid to the Nejad Institute, as expressly stated in this Agreement, the Nejad Institute will at no time be responsible for expenses incurred by you or on your behalf.

Right to Cancel Your Registration for a Course

Notwithstanding any provision of this Agreement to the contrary, you understand and agree that the Nejad Institute shall have right to cancel your registration for a course for which you are registered to attend, as provided below, because of your nonpayment of the Tuition.

Nonpayment Thirty Days Prior to Scheduled Course Start Date

If it is thirty (30) days or less before the scheduled course start date of a course for which you are registered and if you have not paid the Full Tuition for such course, then your registration for such course shall be canceled due to your nonpayment as of the date the Nejad Institute notifies you of such cancellation and any payments made by you and applied toward this course shall be forfeited to the Nejad Institute as of the date of such notice.

Nonpayment More than Thirty Days but Less than Sixty Days Prior to Scheduled Course Start Date

If it is more than thirty (30) days but less than sixty (60) days before the scheduled course start date of a course for which you are registered and if you have not paid the Nejad Institute the Full Tuition, then your registration for such course shall be canceled due to your nonpayment as of the date the Nejad Institute notifies you of such cancellation. 15% of the Tuition will be forfeited to the Nejad Institute, but the remaining payment balance will be converted to Customer Credit and will be available to you to apply towards the payment of another course Tuition. You will have one hundred eighty (180) days from the date the Nejad Institute notifies you of the course cancellation to designate how the Customer Credit is to be applied. If you fail to designate how any portion of such Customer Credit is to be applied within such one hundred eighty (180) days period, then the undesignated portion of such Customer Credit shall also be forfeited to the Nejad Institute as of the end of such one hundred eighty (180) days period. Until you designate how a portion of the balance of such Customer Credit is to be applied, the Nejad Institute shall be entitled to commingle undesignated portions of such Customer Credit with its other funds and you will not be entitled to receive any credit for any interest accrual thereon.

Nonpayment More Than Sixty Days Prior to Scheduled Course Start Date

If it is more than sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled course start date of a course for which you are registered and if you have failed to make required payments, then your registration for such course shall be canceled due to your nonpayment as of the date the Nejad Institute notifies you of such cancellation and your payment balance will be converted to Customer Credit with respect to this canceled course and will be available to you to apply towards the Tuition of another course. You will have one hundred eighty (180) days from the date the Nejad Institute notifies you of the course cancellation to designate how the amount that is treated as your Customer Credit are to be applied. If you fail to designate how any portion of such Customer Credit is to be applied within such one hundred eighty (180) days period, then the undesignated portion of such Customer Credit shall also be forfeited to the Nejad Institute as of the end of such one hundred eighty (180) days period. Until you designate how a portion of the balance of such Customer Credit is to be applied, the Nejad Institute shall be entitled to commingle undesignated portions of such Customer Credit with its other funds and you will not be entitled to receive any credit for any interest accrual thereon.

Method of Crediting

Notwithstanding any provision of this Agreement to the contrary, if you cancel your course registration, or if the Nejad Institute cancels a course for which you are registered, or if the Nejad Institute cancels your registration for a course due to your nonpayment of Tuition, and if either your deposit and/or your Customer Credit attributable to the course in question is to be forfeited to the Nejad Institute, then the following rules shall apply:

Complete Forfeiture of Payments

If your entire payment balance is to be forfeited, the method by which the payments were made will be what is forfeited to the Nejad Institute, whether Customer Credit, cash, check, credit card, or any combination of payment methods.

Partial Forfeiture of Payments

If any portion of your payments is to be forfeited and you paid the Tuition with a combination of methods, i.e., credit card charges and application of your Customer Credit, then the forfeiture shall be paid to the Nejad Institute as follows: (i) first by forfeiture of any payments (cash,credit card, check) applied to the Tuition up until the total Forfeiture amount; (ii) second by forfeiture of your Customer Credit to cover the remaining balance of the forfeiture (if any).
